Years ago...back in the days when a gal had to be in the house by ten o'clock...an' if she wasn't...her boyfriend knew for sure, he was on her pa an' ma's "IXNAY" list!
*a note of interest that the word "ten" seems to have been laid over with a piece of paper, possibly to correct on error?*
Hess was a well-known Milwaukee cartoonist/illustrator.
Hand-signed by the artist and includes a handwritten address for the recipient. “Thanks to Mrs. K. Haderfeld...St. Louis”, along with his signature.
